Bilal Muhammed-El Shabazz is an education leader and school founder dedicated to building high-quality schools that serve and reflect the communities around them. Throughout his career, he has helped launch new schools, support school turnaround efforts, and develop strong academic programs across regions in the South, West, and Northeast.

Bilal’s work is grounded in the belief that great schools are built in partnership with the communities they serve. Through LiberX, he works to design schools where students experience strong academics, safety, belonging, and opportunity, while also supporting the development of leaders who are committed to lifting community voices and creating lasting change in education.
